OLD OUT L'UNICO CONCERTO ITALIANO DEI QUEEN + ADAM LAMBERT MARTEDÌ A MILANO

05/02/2015 | redazione 118 MUSICA ufficialmente sold out l'unica, attesa data italiana dei QUEEN ADAM LAMBERT, che saranno protagonisti di un'imperdibile concerto (prodotto e organizzato da Barley Arts) martedì 10 febbraio al Mediolanum Forum di Assago - Milano - (via G. Di Vittorio, 6 / Apertura porte ore 18.45, inizio concerto ore 21.00). Media partner dell'evento è R101.

La leggendaria band inglese e il talentuoso cantante americano sono in tour in tutta Europa con uno show esplosivo, realizzato grazie ad una produzione colossale, che ha già riscosso un grande successo di critica e pubblico. In scaletta, i brani più celebri dei Queen, hit che attraversano tutte le generazioni: da “Another one bites the dust” a “Who wants to live forever”, fino a “Under pressure” e “Bohemian Rhapsody”.

I Queen e Adam Lambert, ex concorrente di “American Idol”, si sono incontrati per la prima volta durante la finale del talent show nel 2009, quando si sono esibiti insieme nell'inno rock “We Are The Champions”. May e Taylor sono rimasti così colpiti dalla voce di Lambert da decidere di collaborare nuovamente con lui nel 2011sul palco degli MTV EMA, nell'estate 2012 in una serie di concerti, tra cui tre sold out a Londra, e lo scorso settembre sul palco dell'iHeartRadio Music Festival di Las Vegas, dove i tre, dopo un grande successo di pubblico e critica, hanno deciso di portare in tour lo show.

Da un punto di vista tecnico, a differenza del 2012, si tratta di una produzione più completa - racconta Adam Lambert - Dovremo visitare molte città e questo ci ha portati a decidere insieme di progettare dei visual e un palco particolare . Il nostro set ha un design del tutto innovativo - dice Brian May - grande e molto audace. Spingeremo tutto al massimo! . Ogni volta che abbiamo suonato la nostra musica con Adam, lui si è dimostrato un frontman incredibile - sostieneRoger Taylor - sensazionale. Ha un'estensione sorprendente, e riesce ad eguagliare quella di Freddie. un cantante straordinario e un vero talento. Sento che si adatta perfettamente alla nostra teatralità, è proprio a suo agio .

Adam Lambert è attualmente impegnato nella lavorazione del suo terzo album, “The original high”, mentre May e Taylor hanno da poco pubblicato “Queen Forever”, raccolta che include materiale finora inedito registrato con Freddie Mercury.

Even severe bronchitis couldn’t keep him down for long!

After having to cancel their show in Brussels a few nights ago, Adam Lambert and Queen were back at it today, giving another perfect performance in Milan. Well, I assume it was perfect–there’s a real lack of videos available right now. Somebody please remedy that.

But even looking at these photos, Adam was on it! Who would guess that just yesterday he was still on bedrest? Hopefully their tour doesn’t suffer any more illness-related cancellations from the band. They’ve gotta be out there spreading the Gospel of Freddie–and Adam is really the only singer I trust to preach it.

Side note: have we discussed how Adam should play Galileo in the Broadway version of We Will Rock You? There is no Broadway version yet, and Adam is, to me, the perfect choice. Someone make it so!

Incluso la bronquitis severa no pudo mantenerlo abajo por mucho tiempo!

Después de tener que cancelar su concierto en Bruselas hace unas noches, Adam Lambert y Queen estuvieron de vuelta hoy, dando otra actuación perfecta en Milán. Bueno, supongo que fue perfecta, hay una falta real de videos disponibles en este momento. Alguien por favor remedie eso.

Pero incluso mirando estas fotos, Adam estuvo en él! ¿Quién iba a adivinar que ayer todavía estaba en reposo en cama?

Esperemos que su gira no sufra más cancelaciones relacionadas con la enfermedad de la banda. Ellos han tenido que estar por ahí difundiendo el Evangelio de Freddie - y Adam es realmente el único cantante en que confío para predicarlo.

Nota al margen: se había discutido sobre cómo Adam debe representar Galileo en la versión de Broadway de We Will Rock You? No existe una versión de Broadway todavía, y Adam es, para mí, la elección perfecta. Alguien lo hace así!
